Hiya All, Welcome to Life Happens... !

The following are some guidelines to help the coop achieve success:
  1. Be as helpful and courteous to all coop members. Try to welcome all new members to help make them feel welcome too. Please do not ghost while racing in Regatta or participating in Interseasonal, especially if you are in a task (see How to/Additional Settings Menu/Show Online Status)! 👍
  2. Whether you are a new member, elder or co-leader, please read through all the guidelines, and when new updates come out, please read through again. Of course, you can visit at any time to read again, leave suggestions and/or comments too!
  3. Participate in all the Regatta Races, doing the specified minimal tasks, or opt out (See the How to/Additional Settings Menu below on opting out).
  4. The Interseasonal Regatta is completely optional, but well worth doing for the rewards (See Interseasonal Regatta below).
  5. Participate in chat to help others and be helped. Conversations can bring laughter & may brighten one's day too! 😃😂
  6. Try to take tasks that are the highest point values (135+, with the exception of coop relays which start at 130 & go up to 145), every point counts!
  7. Elders+ will delete all tasks lower than 130 (If you are promoted to elder+, that means you), however only take 135 or higher, if it is a coop relay (which if you are 1st in the relay, it might be 130). The reason we keep a few under 135, is that the game will generate more of a variety, instead of it keep regenerating all lower point tasks.
  8. Never dump a task that you have started, even if you accidentally took a lower point task (I accidentally took a lower point task: 122 mining task, when trying to dump it, but I did finish it, so the team would not lose the points & I would not lose a task).
  9. Please take tasks that you are prepared for (See Preparing for Tasks below) to move quickly through each task & allow others who are prepped to take, so everyone moves quickly through tasks.
  10. Prep for multiple tasks, before & throughout Regatta (See Preparing for Tasks below).
  11. You have the ability to reserve tasks, but please only reserve crop harvesting (plant upon reserving), shelved production goods (5-8 already on shelf) & bringing goods from island tasks (all boats must be docked from same island, if a rare goods task, make sure you have 3 of said rare goods in all boats or the total amount needed to complete task). If you are prepared for a task that is reserved, ask the person who has reserved in chat if you can have the task, comparing each other's preparedness. Please do not just take, without permission, that is grounds for being restricted for the following regatta race (if prepared), or being kicked (if unprepared).
  12. Do not reserve any other tasks! Hol (House of Luck), Heli (Helicopter) Mining, Planes, Trains, Zoos, Events (with the exception of production tasks), Smelting, Feeding Animals, Collecting from Animals, etc. are all 1st come, first serve! If one is reserved that is not supposed to be reserved, you can just take the reserved task, without any penalty. If you reserve a task by accident or were uncertain, you can just cancel, otherwise, it will be brought to your attention, and an elder+ will take the reservation, then cancel, if you are not around to do so yourself.
  13. If you are are unhappy with a member/s, please try to talk about it, and if you do not feel any resolve, please do not rage quit, because it hurts the entire team, yourself, and you will not be able to collect any reward chests.
  14. If you know that you will be unable to get the minimum tasks done, opt out before a race begins (that way we will be placed in races with an equal amount of opponents), and let us know in chat, the line app, or via email (see below for Additional Chat Options). If something comes up after the race has begun that will keep you from fulfilling all tasks or even beginning tasks, you may opt out also, but do know that you will be ineligible for chests rewards (see below for Life Happens).
  15. Have fun! This is a game & even if we do not get that 1st place trophy, we all know that collectively we worked our best & we are all winners! 🏆
Memos:
  1. The leader and co-leaders can send out memos with helpful information & about tasks that they or other members are prepped for, please read them when you see them. They help us to all become better players. 😄
  2. If you cannot send a memo, because you are not a co-leader+, or are, yet have to wait a long period of time for next memo, ask another co-leader+ to send for you.
  3. Remember when a new member joins or rejoins, he/she cannot read any past memos, therefore if a co-leader is around, please send a post with the link to this blog, before the next race begins. 😉
Task Preparations:
  1. Production Task: Stock factory shelves with all the same items, leaving 1-2 open shelves to make other items. This helps if a task comes up for said items. Only take a production task if you have 5-8 items shelved. Also the factory speed up booster helps with these tasks. If you notice a task come on board and you have said items on shelf, you can reserve the task (while finishing your current task, you can place the remainder of task items in the factory's queue). If reserving, start the reserved task after your current task is complete.
  2. Bring Goods from Islands: Before the Regatta begins, send out all boats to just one island (using platinum ingots if you have them or at least gold to guarantee the rarer goods), leave boats docked with goods on board ships. This helps with bringing goods from islands' tasks. Only take island tasks if you have all boats docked (and have used either platinum or gold ingots for rarer item tasks). You can also reserve if your ships are docked with the tasks goods, if you are currently in another task, and start reserved task after current one is complete.
  3. Send Boats to Islands: This task should be taken when your ships are all docked, then emptied, take task, then send off. Pay attention to the time of arrival, so the next trip/s can be sent back out right away. (Unlike bringing goods, this task is not to be reserved).
  4. Zoo Task: Half fill 8 orders for zoo, while making/having the other half in barn or on shelves. This helps with all zoo tasks. Tag what you do not have, leaving the other fill empty (with the other half in barn, on shelves, or ready to be harvested), until someone fills (this way gives other members/neighbors more coin).
  5. Send trains out to get as many mining tools and build tools up until race starts. The last trains that arrive, fill all, but one crate, having last item/s in barn, on shelves, ready to be harvested (if crops), or ready to be collected (animals). This helps if first task is a train task. If you choose a different first task that is going to take time, you can just repeat the process with sending & then filling accordingly when your task is near done. If there are fillers for the trains, announce before tagging, allowing a filler first dibs. If you do not need any items, you can give a filler a choice, and tag anyway to help filler's task (also, you can do this if there are no fillers too, because we do not receive any coin filling our own trains, nor a clover either).
  6. Plane Task: Planning planes is much like trains, and you can use the same method or you can fill all crates, just do not send until you take the plane task, if it is your first task, or you are in a quick task, wanting to take a plane task sooner than 5 hours. When on a plane task, you can ask others for help, allowing you the choice to bring planes in early (if there are plane fillers, announce prior to give time to prep & help, and announce upon arrival, prior to tagging). Even if there are no fillers or that task is unavailable, you can announce in chat what your plane needs, what you already have and what you might need help on (this helps when considering bring plane in early). Everyone is eager to help, so never be shy away from asking for it.
  7. Earn Coins Task: Although there is no real prepping for this task, if you prep as you go along, it makes earning coin a lot faster. Here is where you might like to apply the "Generous Customer" booster, because heli gives the most coins. :) Mining is truly lucrative with coins too (no need for the "Flashlight" booster, because coins are hidden in the rocks, whether shaded or seen), plus the coins can be found in bottles and the treasure chest/s and piles in the secret rooms. Filling other towns trains, planes and zoos can bring lots of coins. Filling your own planes (request in chat &/or order from dealer instead of tagging to help earn more coin) & zoos (unless you wish to keep zoo prepped for another task). Hol (see House of Luck Task) also offers coin winnings and can be quite a bit (if you continually collect clovers and save, you can use the same method as if it is an Hol Task to keep clovers ready for next Hol or coin task). If you receive gift balloons, try to save them and open after taking task. Open the neighboring balloon chests (3 tbuck ones) at your own risk, most often they give build and mining tools over coins and tbucks). Selling excess items from barn can be lucrative too or buying high priced items from dealer, then selling from barn works too, but be careful, Raj might take more coin than you earn, and though all those coins count for task, you don't want to go broke trying to gain less than spending. Making high priced quick items can bring lots of barn coins too for the achievements. Also, you can buy expensive decorations from the store found by clicking the construction helmet (as pointed out by Vikki or Helix), then selling (but be aware that you usually only get half the amount in return). Anyone not in coin task, please try to be helpful, tagging trains, planes and zoos, as if you were doing this for a member in a filler task.
  8. Mining tasks: collect mining tools from trains, chests, planes and/or order from dealer See Suggestions/Tips below). Make sure you have over 100 mining tools to do mining tasks, and if you can afford the booster for the flashlight in the mine, wait until you take task to activate. Mining with the booster makes the task run super quick and uses less mining tools. This task should never take longer than 1 hour (unless it is your final task, and you wish to see that push toward the end).
  9. Special Mining tasks: Make sure you have all items needed to complete mining task before taking or are able to get the rest from dealer (if hired) or through chat request. This should never take longer than 1 hour.
  10. Harvesting Crops: You can clear fields or plant a bunch of wheat/corn (selling for extra coin) before race starts, then plant whatever the task calls for (if you have or can get the double crop booster, it will save space for other crops and might save time, not having to replant crops). You also can clear fields throughout race, depending on barn space, when a task pops up. If you see a harvesting task on board that you wish to prep for or are already prepped for, you can reserve the task. Depending on the time until harvesting, you may take other tasks before starting.
  11. House of Luck (hol): Continually collect clovers, before and during race. Collect the letters outside City Hall until you have between 30-35 clovers playable inside. When the outside letters reach the 90's, collect and play down inside to 30-35 again (Keeping in mind that once inside reaches 50 and outside reaches 100, no clovers can be collected and you will lose any you earn if you are maxed). Upon taking the hol task, collect letters first, play down to 35, then collect letters again to finish hol task, that way you don't have to waste more clovers & you are ready for another hol sooner. Only take hol tasks if you have enough clovers to complete the task. Task should be finished before a minute even passes.
  12. Crate Filling for Planes can be prepped beforehand, prepping what your plane needs, and others letting plane fillers know what is going to be needed on upcoming planes. Non-fillers please delay tagging planes to assist fillers in getting there quicker or finish prepping items. (Non-fillers, please try not to be trigger happy filling planes, unless you absolutely know for certain no fillers are in task). This task can play rather nicely with a teammate having the plane task. Also, if you are a filler, please let the coop know in chat when you become available & in the settings menu: Additional Settings: please set your online status to on (you can reset after completing task), that way we know that you are online and we can help you finish task quicker. When taking the plane filler task, please be prepared to stay online for a couple hours. This task can be completed in 10 minutes - 2 hours if done during high volume times, but should never take 24 or more. Key to swiftness: Hiring dealer, visiting neighboring towns that need help & checking every few minutes too, prepping according to plane needs, BEING ONLINE!
  13. Train Filling cannot easily be prepped beforehand, but it is a courtesy to tag one item on each train for the fillers (even if you have all items to fill, because we do not earn any coins or clovers on our own trains). If you are a train filler, do fill all your train cars if able. It also helps to give choices (if you can) for train fillers and allow the some time for crop harvests, before tagging. If you need something, also let train fillers know before tagging, they might have what ya need or are moments away from having what you need. (In essence, please wait before tagging to let the filler know what is needed, so he or she can fill first). Unlike plane filling, there is no quick assessment of time, but being online, checking neighbors continuously, announcing that you are filling in chat, making sure your online status is visible, will all help this go quicker.
  14. Helicopter task (heli): have all items in barn, on shelves, or ready to be harvested or collected ready before taking tasks, it will go much quicker. Trash difficult or insanely lower priced customers, while preparing for those who are easily accommodated, while in task. Heli tasks can be quick, if you are lucky, but can take a bit of time & lots of trashcan dumps to get through it. Keep checking when new goods are available at market too and order from dealer if you have hired him or can hire him. And please request in chat too, we are all eager to help everyone complete tasks quickly.
  15. Smelting: Leave ingots in foundries, prior to taking task, you will have 2-3 to start off with and get the half time booster for smelting, if you can. It goes a lot faster if you smelt bronze after collecting the ingots, because they are the quickest to smelt. Only take smelting task if you have enough ore to complete task. If you need certain ores to upgrade factories, you can purchase from dealer (if hired) or request in chat. This task should only take 1-2 hours to complete.
Miscellaneous Tasks:
  1. Coop Relays: Many follow the same prepping as all other tasks (they can be Train Tasks, Plane Tasks, harvesting, sending or bringing goods to and from islands, etc.) Although some of these can normally be reserved, these tasks should not be reserved, because a coop member can take when ready, so it can be quickly handed off to the next ready to take task. When it is bringing goods from islands, make sure all boats are docked with the maximum number of the goods asked for before taking (3 of each in all boats), then take task empty goods into barn & resend immediately (or if rare goods, you might be just done at this point), keeping aware of the time for next arrival of ships, so the task can be taken right away, upon completion. In the case of rarer goods (i.e. watermelons), make sure you resend with platinum or gold ingots to be certain to get the maximum amount of task goods to complete faster. Harvesting relays: plant what is needed for the relay, try to use the "Super Harvest" booster, so you can get all done in one sweep, and ONLY take task when you are ready to harvest, so the next can get on board quickly.
  2. Event Task: prepping for these often comes easily after heli tasks, however it is not always the case. So, if you plan on it, try to build up items needed for event, prior to taking task. Be careful of taking the task if the event will soon be over, it is easy to run out of time, therefore you will lose a task & all its points & the team also loses the points too). I will address more on this in further detail at a later time.
  3. Combo Tasks: These tasks have a combination of (usually 3) tasks. Normally they request a lesser amount than a regular task, and can be reserved if one or more of the tasks can be reserved (only reserve and/or take if prepared for all tasks).
  4. I will add more as needed.
How to:
  • Many Settings are self explanatory, for this, I will go into more detail, as questions arise.
  • Additional Settings Menu
    1. Take Part in Seasonal Regatta: Here is where you can opt out by turning to off position. (A co-leader+ can also restrict you from the current or next regatta race - if an error has occurred, you can go here to opt back in, then leave the coop & rejoin through an invitation).
    2. Display Online Status: Set to on when in a filler task, but if you prefer to ghost at any other time, turn this feature off.
    3. Use Cash: Set to on, that way you get a pop up to save from spending all your hard earned tbucks in a misclick.
    4. Display Profile Picture on the Screen: self explanatory.
    5. Turn Off Word Filter: Allows you to see all words typed, instead of "***" (it is automatically in off position meaning the filter is on, until you choose to turn on, which turns filter off, confusing? Lol).
Life Happens:
  • We all go through life at different paces. Some may have more time to dedicate to the game, while others can only play in spurts. Both can be accommodated here in this coop.
    1. For those able to dedicate more time, prep for multiple tasks, that way it allows for more choices. Help as much as you can with those who are struggling a bit more.
    2. For those that have less time, you can still prep for tasks in the same manner & take those tasks to help you go quickly through tasks. Or, you can take tasks that might take longer, but fit better into your schedule: Trains, planes, harvesting crops, etc.

  • None of us are born with foreseeable knowledge when hardships shall occur, therefore we may all wish for the best, only to be blind-sided with catastrophe.
    1. If you or a loved one falls ill, if you are able, please let us know, we can either help you more that way, so you can complete tasks or you can opt out if you are unable to finish tasks (Co-leaders & I can restrict you from regatta if you are unable).
    2. Death of a loved one hits harder than a rock and even if there is a known time frame, there is no preparing for it! Take the time you need to grieve (opting out, if needed), lean on us for support & prayers, or just a few moments of sunshine in the bleakness of your inner turmoil.

    • One might feel the need to take a break from the game, whether it be boredom, heavy work loads, schooling, or the fun has just dwindled.
      1. If your work load is far too great than you can manage getting all tasks done, please opt out before race begins. If you get slammed with hours while still in a race, let us know, if we can help you finish simpler tasks, or if worse comes to worse, you can also opt out.
      2. If you have grown bored or the game has lost fun for you, please finish the current race, so you can collect your chest rewards. If you just want a bit of time off, you can opt out for future races, but please let us know before disappearing, to ease our worries (I, along with others are still worried about a former coop member that just disappeared off the game).
      3. If your school work load becomes unbearably too much & you need to take time off, please let us know, if we can help with tasks, or if needed you can also opt out.

    Suggestions/Tips:
    • Hire the dealer: If it is your 1st time hiring or it has been a while, I suggest hiring for a day at 12 tcash, this activates the discounts for future hiring. With the discount, you can hire for 5 days for 40 tcash or 10 days for 72 tcash. And you can order every hour, or if you have the dealer half time booster, every half hour. DO NOT use the market refresh booster if you hire the dealer, it cuts the duration in half and the dealer will expire much sooner than you intended.
      1. You can order any items for planes, trains, zoos, heli, etc.
      2. You can order mining tools (Pick axes is a good choice, because it gives 15). And build up a mining arsenal, when you do not need other items.
      3. You can order items that are at your level and below, even if you do not have the factory to build it yet.
      4. You can order ore that can be smelted for upgrades or used as ingredients at certain factories.
      5. Try to build up tcash, that way when the period of time with the dealer expires, you can again hire, wait too long and you lose the discounted prices.
    • Be Helpful: Try to help coop members as much as you can, whether it be filling planes, trains, zoos or sharing goods in chat. The more you help, the more others will like helping you!
    • Be Kind and Courteous: Be grateful to others that help you, whether directly or indirectly. Try to lift spirits & be helpful to those who are struggling or are just in need of having his/her day brightened! Do not bash others at all! Doing this will not be tolerated, and though I do have patience for those that are experiencing a bad day/s, I do not care for anyone who blatantly disrespects any of his/her Team Mates. We are a family! And with that said, we will have our differences of play styles, different opinions & unique personalities. Anyone wishing to ignore this, will in fact get demoted to member status first, and then booted immediately following, and will be denied access to the coop in the future! I want this coop to remain "Drama Free!" And as always, jokes and silly banter are welcome, because I know I it puts a smile on my face & giggles galore!
    • Follow Chat: Oftentimes, a player is struggling to earn coins, clovers, or trying to shave off room in a near/beyond maxed barn. We try to tag goods that they have to help them, and by following chat you will see that a tag is intended for said person. Also, we often talk about what we are prepping for in chat, so if ya join in, we can all prep different things. Plus, in chat we can have a few laughs along the way or try to bring up the spirits of the team or a member!
    • Freaky Friday: Every Friday, around 10pm EST or Saturday 2am UTC, we share stories that are rather comical in nature, or embarrassing moments from our past. Attendance is optional, but it can be a lot of fun. Just to note, it is normally more adult themed, therefore, if that does not appeal to you, no worries (but you can always be a fly on the wall & secretly enjoy too).
    • Upgrading Factories: Once you purchase a factory, you can begin upgrading, it can be a great advantage to do this, because planes often ask for goods before a factory is finished building (in the case where this happens, request items in chat right away & then again 3 hours later, or buy from dealer, or tag all those items when plane lands, letting us know in chat that you will be needing those items in advance, so we can help prep to fill quickly).
      • As for which factories should be upgraded to maximize benefits: the ones that you utilize the most (i.e., Bakery, Dairy, Sugar, Paper, Textile, Feed Mills, Rubber, Ice Cream), then go accordingly to factories that the most time to finish items (i.e., Furniture, Taylor Shop, Candy, Mexican Restaurant, etc.).
      • Upgrades that should be done first: Time (whenever available), Extra Shelving (whenever available), Coins (when Time or Extra Shelving is unavailable), & Experience (only when it is the only available option).
      •  Factories that one should wait to purchase: As far as I know (thus far), the only factory that does not benefit to purchase (until all factories, trains & islands have been upgraded) is the Jewelry Store (the only customer for this factory is the mafia guy in heli & you can buy from dealer or win at hol to gain the tbuck/s that he gives for said items, without wasting ore that can be used for upgrading).
      • Deciding which factory should be purchased first: Oftentimes, we are leveling up so fast that our population holds us back from buying factories and then we up our population or an update adds more factories, giving us choices. Remember that heli customers will ask for items from factories that you do not own (you can get a rough idea of how profitable said factory will be by this). Ask in chat, those above you might be better able to say which factories are more lucrative. And for any above me that would like to know, I love researching and I can find out for you the pros and cons to help you make that decision.
      • Going for the factory achievements: Level up factories evenly (upgrading the ones that are most helpful first). As for the final 2 achievements: To get to the 18 factories at level 10: upgrade the ones that you are able to do so more easily (those requiring less ingots, or ingots that can be made quickly), if you can use the "Super Smelting" booster, it is quite helpful to get ingots in half the time!  To get the 18 factories to level 15: Use the same method, but keep in mind that the Feed Mills max upgrade is only 13.
    • Upgrading Trains: Everyone needs time shaven off trains to get build materials quicker. With that said, always upgrade Time when available! As for method, you can do trains evenly to keep them close in sync with one another, but the method that probably is better, is to upgrade one to max, at a time, because this way it cuts the cost down for that train if you want to reel in early (most helpful during train tasks & getting build tools faster). Only upgrade Experience when that is the only option!
    • Upgrading Islands: Shaving Time is most important here, so always upgrade Time when available. As for which rarer good to choose to upgrade first, I choose the rarest first (because you can get max of the other with even just gold ingots). Choosing which islands to upgrade is a personal choice. Where I am at now, I most need Tropica, Fisherman's & Olivia, and even though I need a lot from Frutus as well, the time is more manageable than all the others. Currently, I am working on Tropica the most, because it has the longest journey time.
    • Building Tool Tips: I have learned some tips and tricks for this from other Township players:
      • Before you have access to the Building Exchange: only begin building one community lot OR one zoo enclosure at a time. The trains have a certain algorithm in which they send build materials, and that is based on the latest build you begin. If the trains continually send the materials that you are not in need of, but not the ones that you do need, you can sell any of the excess build tools, so the trains will most likely send the one/s that you do need.
      • After the Building Exchange is completed: Any builds that are at that level and above will need 2 different power tools (with increasing increments & changing between the 3 that are available) & 1 build material (also increasing amounts from build to build), but the builds prior to that will still follow the same needs as the builds from the past (however, now instead of selling the extra build tools, you can exchange your excess build tools for power tools, even if you do not know what power tools you will be needing). You can build community lots a lot quicker, however you will now notice an increasing amount of homeless zoo animals. To help the situation a little bit, whenever you have a complete zoo family, you can begin building that enclosure (but try to limit the enclosures to just one or two at a time to keep a better algorithm for the trains). You can then weigh your options, by having one community lot build, and if you need tbucks more, try finishing zoo first, if you need extra fields and factories more, try finishing community lot first.
      • Upgrading the Barn: We always seem to be needing a barn upgrade desperately throughout the game. That temporary barn upgrade is a really NICE win, but it is like a drug addiction, the withdrawal symptoms range from minor (if you have an upcoming barn upgrade) to utter explosions of mass amounts of items that you could see gridlock for a great chunk of time. When this happens, make as much as your factories will allow, fill EVERYWHERE (including your own zoo & heli orders). Let others know in chat, so that they can tag items that you are abundant in or they can request for in chat to help take some of the excess away, and then sell down to at least 6 items of everything that you are able to do so (build items should not be sold down, unless in excess or exchanged at the Tool Exchange for Power Tools). Also, when you are in need of certain build tool/s for your next barn upgrade, sell the excess of the the other build tool/s to free up space and that should place the game's algorithm toward giving the build tool/s needed.
    Interseasonal Regatta:
    • There are 4 types of chests:

      1. Wooden Chests: These have easier tasks within, although many still do involve prepping, please take only if prepped for. Although the rewards from wooden chests are not as grand as others, do not get greedy, awaiting on only Precious chests, especially if you have already collected your 9 chests (you do not earn any more after 9). If you are one that struggles in the Regatta Race, wooden chests offer more simplicity and help to meet team goals.
      2. Iron Chests: Slightly more difficult than wooden chest tasks, but a bit easier than the others. Rewards follow suit, better than wooden, but not as good as others. Again only take tasks if prepped for them.
      3. Golden Chests: These chests set the difficulty level about that of your 135 point tasks in the regular Regatta Race. Winning these chests gives greater rewards than iron or wooden, but not quite as good as precious. Again, please only take tasks that you are prepped for!
      4. Precious Chests: The bar of difficulty has spiked and although these do give the best rewards, they take significantly more time to complete. This is where ONLY someone who is prepped for tasks should take. Those who have upgraded factories/trains/islands & boosters that help tasks run faster should consider taking the longer ones (as you can complete much quicker) to add the team to all goal points.

    • Q&A for Interseasonal:
      1. How many tasks can I take in a chest? To be fair, until everyone has collected all 9 of their chests, one should not take more than 1-2 tasks per chest (you can only collect a chest once, but 1-2 others can also collect). Once everyone has collected all 9 chests, or are on their 9th chest, complete as many as you are prepared for and do 1, 2 or all three tasks to open up new chests quickly.
      2. Can I take all precious and/or golden chest tasks to get the better rewards? Yes, you can, but whether that is fair to you or the team is a decision of morality.
      3. I do not like prepping, but I can afford the boosters to speed things up, can I take tasks for that? You can, but again it is a decision of morality and time to consider. A person who is prepped, may be able to complete a task within a second, whereas, even with boosters, you may take hours or even a day to finish. Let us know in chat if you are prepping for a certain task (Unfortunately there is no reserving of tasks, but communication can help in getting the tasks you are preparing for or most prepared for).
      4. Why did I lose the chest I was working on, I was finished my task/had plenty of time to finish task? If one person times out on a task, everyone in the chest suffers and the chest is not earned. Please set alarms to avoid that happening to you.
      5. How does anyone know how prepped I am for a task? Unlike the regular regatta race, everyone in the coop can see your progress. This also helps us predicting how soon a new chest might be arriving (i.e. a plane is tagged for help, all other slots are filled, and the person's final task for the chest is the plane task with 4/5 completed, you now know, if someone fills, a new chest will arrive soon).
      6. Can I dump chests if a task/s is too difficult or not enough time to complete? Do not dump the entire chest if anyone is in task or anyone can complete other task/s (every completed task helps reach team goals), and only dump if the members inside the chest have all 9 chests earned. However before dumping any chests, check chat to be certain no one is prepped enough for the task/s.
      7. I realized after I took a task that I am not prepped, but know others are, what should I do? Here is where it differs from the regular regatta race, you can dump the task (not the chest) & it will remain for another to take. I do not believe there are any penalties for dumping a personal task in the interseasonal regatta, because you will still be able to continue doing other tasks and be able to collect all 9 chests.
      8. Can we dump all the wooden & iron chests? We could, but it is more likely that those will keep returning, meaning less golden and precious ones coming in. Plus, when dumping a chest, it takes double the time for a new chest to appear.
      9. How many tasks can I do? As many as you can or want to do. Personally, I set goals to beat my own records (I am weird, I find that a bit of fun, lol).
      10. Should I use tbucks to speed up tasks? That is a personal decision, but just note that it is a bit wise to save enough to be able to hire the dealer and enough to buy an extra task for the next regatta race. Personally, I do speed up some tasks, but I usually have enough saved or know that I will be getting achievements soon or zoo families completed.
      11. I have earned all 9 chests, what tasks should I take now? If others are still working on their 9 chests, it is nice to take some of the harder tasks to ease the burden, and help those behind move on to the quicker tasks.Once everyone has earned all 9 chests, then go crazy, taking as many quicker ones that you can to help the team reach goal points.
      12. How can I help others who are struggling? Since we are able to see progress, we can just simply ask (a plane task: ask what's on next plane, train or zoo tasks: fill tags to help & ask if they can request in chat anything they might need, as is for heli too). Also, we can tag to help others on our trains/planes/zoos to help certain people get clovers for an hol task or needed tbucks.
      13. I am struggling, what should I do? Ask for help in chat, let us know how we can help. If you are low in tbucks or clovers, we can tag for you. If you need items, we can share in chat or can fill tagged items. We can help prep for your planes. Never be afraid to ask for help, everyone is eager to help here!
      14. I keep seeing the same people grab all the easy tasks in chests and when I go to the board, I am left with choosing all the long and/or difficult ones to choose from, it is at the point, I am having no fun! What can be done to avoid this? If it is me, you can tell me personally, and I will go out of my way to take on the harder/longer tasks, especially in the beginning to help complete chests. If it is someone else, no need to call out names, for everyone can see inside the chests and the progress too, but if you mention something in chat, I do believe others will wish to do the same. I think the interseasonal is the most fun of all the regattas, and the more we work as a team, rather than our own personal agenda, the more fun for all, and more goals will be reached.
      15. What are the goal rewards and when do I receive them? The goal rewards are what we earn when completing goal milestones through an accumulation of all tasks. Everyone has different goal rewards, but each is collected at the same time, when we reach the milestone. If you do not receive them when the milestone is reached (I did not receive 3 out of 4 last interseasonal), put in a support ticket and let them know that you did not receive your items (be prepared for a wait period beyond their 48 hour response time), and Township will probably give you the items that you never received.
      16. What if I do not feel like like participating in the interseasonal regatta, can I opt out? No one has to participate, but the rewards are all nice to have. You do not need to opt out (there is no penalty to the team for non-participation), but do let us know in chat, that way we won't count you in for 9 chests. And if you change your mind, you can take tasks too. You can do as little as you want or as much as you want!
      17. How can I make some tasks more fun? Oftentimes, there are more than one of the same task in different chests, you can ask if someone would like to race ya (I had so much fun racing Duckie with feeding tasks a few interseasonals ago). You can take more challenging tasks that you would not normally take in the regular regatta. You can set goals to achieve (i.e. I set one for 25 tasks, next interseasonal, I set for 30). If you have not earned the 7 tasks completed in one day profile pic, the interseasonal is the easiest time to earn it.
      18. I keep going to the board, but there are no chests available to take tasks, what can be done? You can go to chat and ask if anyone is close to completing a chest, you can look at progress in chests to get a rough idea, or if you are on line chat, you can have someone buzz you when one will be opening soon. Or, you could wait patiently, trying to help others as much as you can to help others finish chests. Most of us do not like waiting, but during peak times, every chest is usually full, whereas the off times, many are completely empty (this pertains to the coop if there are close to maximum members).
